Afterwork drinks! Rive, Eaux Vives and Rue de Stand


Geneva is a city where you need to know where to go on a certain night. Here’s our latest top places for Afterwork drinks;afterwork

1. Soleil Rouge, Rive

Fine wines and a lively ambience are assured in this cosy bar near Rive. Always popular, particularly on Thursday nights with many regulars. Friendly service, reasonable prices. Nice tapas and excellent Spanish wines. Cater to private parties at weekends. Ideal for your christmas drinks party. Choose a bottle of wine off the shelves and ask to open it. Also good selection of open wines by the glass.

2. L’Arbalete near Rive

Local crowd, very popular for after work drinks. More of a quintessentially English style pub with good service, free after work tapas and beers on drafts (including Guinness and Superbock). Nice to sit on the bar and meet people. They also have a wine shop next door where you can pick up some presents on the way home.

3. L’Atelier Cocktail bar, Eaux Vives

Recently opened bar, becoming popular midweek with Eaux Vives emergence as a place to go out. Great cocktails, good buzzy atmosphere and friendly service. Recommended.

4. Nonolet, Stand

Excellent location near the heart of the banking district and attracting many finance people for after work drinks.

5. Boulevard du Vin, Stand

Warm atmosphere, good wines and service are assured at this classic bar. Cosy on cool nights.
