Breakfast… in bed?
How about being really lazy for once? After all since I started writing this section I’ve taken you out a lot… even for walks and all… I guess I am more of an active person… But sometimes it feels so good to simply do… nothing!
So how about spending the day in bed? Watch some DVDs? Read a book? How many times have you dreamt of having breakfast served in bed? And how many times did it actually happen?
The company Ptit Dej O Lit might well have the solution. Whatever you fancy, it’s most likely that they have it. They even have gluten free products for those of you who are intolerant to it. I’m hungry just scrolling down the list of pastries…
And this way you don’t have to fight with your partner over who is going to prepare breakfast. You still have to open the door though!
Biskotti hasn’t tried their service yet so please let us know what you think! They work with local people to get fresh products so that’s already a plus! They deliver everyday, even on Sundays and Bank holidays, another good point for them! Just go online, and order everything you want the day before, before 6pm.
The only downside is maybe that the website is only in French but it’s very straightforward and easy to use and I trust you can all manage and know all the vocabulary for this kind of goodies!
If you’d like to get out of the house then I can suggest the following activities:
-Take your board games and head to La Barje for a fun afternoon. From 2pm. (Café des Volontaires. Rue de la Coulouvrenière 26.)
-Get some tickets for the Sunday concert at Victoria Hall at 5pm. Concert du Dimanche. This week: 27 Mozart concertos for piano and orchestra (With the conductor David Greilsammer)
-Head to Aquaparc in Le Bouveret for a fun day in the water with the whole family or with a group of friends. They have special rates for February. (CHF 29.- instead of CHF 49.-)
-Go brunching with your kids at Un R de Famille. Specially made for families, this place is big enough to welcome your push-chairs and you won’t get bad looks if your children make some noise! It’s a nice atmosphere, often with some activities for the little ones. Rue Goetz-Monin 10. Don’t forget to reserve as soon as possible. Call 022 328 22 23 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
To get other meals delivered at your door you could try Smood 2 You, a company that works with various restaurants in Geneva.
