Restaurant de la Plage du Reposoir
One of my favourite places for Sunday lunch in the summer is the restaurant at La Plage Reposoir. There is a casual beach bar here and a restaurant with lovely views of the lake.
You can swim from the beach and relax on the grass, before or after lunch. You can also hire kayaks and go water skiing at the nautical club based here. The Bar is small but serves cocktails and is ideal for an Apero.
The restaurant is at the end of the beach and although many tables are outside it has plenty of shade and is ideal for hot summer days benefitting from a gently breeze from the lake.
For starters you are offered a complimentary green salad. The speciality is Perch (the little fish from the lake) and Chips (the local version of Fish n Chips) which are served with a variety of sauces including lemon, ginger and coconut served by the plate or in a large saucepan. The perch are freshly served in a meuniere butter sauce and are not too oily.
They serve pizza’s (also available for takeaway and great for the kids), pasta and also an excellent Filet de Boeuf sur ardoise (cooked on the stone) with fries. Around 38 CHF for large portion of perches or filet sur l’ardoise.
Desserts are well thought out including a tasty black chocolate and crunchy dessert which was excellent and several ice creams. Service is good and the atmosphere is relaxed.
Our bill was 170 CHF for 3 people including wine.
