Sport week of February 4;

Tennis.Davis Cup Tennis

Despite a great battling performance, Switzerland lost 3 -1 to the Czech Republic in the Davis Cup tie at the weekend. Tomas Berdych beat Stanislav Wawrinka in the decisive match but this tie will be remember for the Epic doubles match on the Saturday (the longest match in Davis Cup history) when both players played a 7 hours 1 minute match!

A quiet sporting week in Geneva this week after the Davis Cup Tennis and the busy week last week!

Feb 9 – 10 3.30 – 9pm 8.30 – 2pm Vernets swimming pool

Great snow in the resorts around Geneva this week with a substantial snow fall last weekend.
The outlook continues to be unsettled with snow and sunshine making perfect skiing conditions. Take advantage before the half term crowds arrive!
