Summer Music Festival- Musique en été Festival I don’t know about you, but I will be in Parc La Grange on Wednesday and Friday, chilling out and enjoying some live music. The concerts in the park (Scène Ella Fitzgerald) are free and start at 8.30pm. Eric Legnini performs Wednesday. He is an incredible pianist and he will be with his band ‘The Vox’ to play some good rhythms of jazz and blues. On Friday, there will be Angolan music with Bonga. Musique en été is more than just free concerts in the park! People often forget that there is also jazz and classical music in the courtyard of the City Hall. It’s a great venue, with pretty good acoustics. I was there last year to see an opera and had a wonderful time! Benny Golson 4Tet is on tonight for jazz, and some pieces by Beethoven and Mozart will be played on Tuesday and Thursday. Tickets for these concerts are between CHF 15 and 40, which is still very cheap compared to any other concerts in Geneva. Tip: concerts will take place at the Victoria Hall if it’s raining. More information on here. CineTransat Our favorite open-air cinema started again […]
